AWI believes in Bolstering Business Bravery ™ in the consciousness of teen-girls by inspiring and helping them realize their entrepreneurial passions. This is accomplished through the Mentoring Young Astutes Program (MYA), an AWI curriculum offered to private, local, and state high school educational programs.

Stronger women build stronger families, communities, and economies!


AWI offers a learning and development curriculum that sets emerging women entrepreneurs on an inclining path from business concept to business creation. This course empowers and educates women entrepreneurs by taking a pedagogical approach anchored in the rich history of women entrepreneurs. From this historical foundation, the curriculum is constructed with well thought out learning blocks that provide:

  • Vision/mission formulation

  • Leadership development

  • Legal considerations in business structuring

  • Personal financial statement overview

  • Resources for start-up capital

  • Self-care insight
